Track meets are scheduled for: March 30, April 6, and April 13. City Finals are on Saturday, May 4. There is also a 7-8th grade MOKAN meet on Tuesday, April 16 and an 8th grade pentathlon on Monday, April 29.
The fee for track is $50 per child for grades 3 and 4 and $80 per child for grades 5 through 8. Your fee includes a track jersey and covers all CYO entry fees. If you have NOT played another CYO sport this year (Cross Country, Football, Volleyball or Basketball) you will also need to complete CYO Release Form online at www.cyojwa.org and pay an annual $40 CYO fee, in addition to $50 or $80 track fee due Nativity. Registration, fees and parental release forms must be completed and submitted prior to the first practice.
Participants must wear assigned track jersey for meets and will need their own shoes and shorts. Registrations can be completed online at www.cyojwa.org. *PLEASE NOTE: Nativity is partnering with St. Michael the Archangel for this team. When registering, please select St. Michael as the parish you are participating with.
As always we need help coaching as well as administrative support. If you are interested in helping out, contact Robert Bishop at [email protected]. Parent volunteers are needed and each must be VIRTUS-trained prior to having any contact with the team. Several people are needed to help during meets and those with track or running experience are needed for practices. More details on CYO Track are available on the CYO website at www.cyojwa.org.
