Welcome to the final year of preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation. This is a big year in the faith life of your student. In the second year of preparation, our main focus in our classes is on morality. Students are expected to regularly attend classes, attend the three Candidate/Sponsor Meetings, complete a retreat, and perform service projects. They will also be responsible for writing a letter to request to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Information regarding the dates of these requirements is available below and will be sent home regularly with the candidates. We look forward to working with your students and appreciate your support of the program.
An email will be sent prior to the first class in September. If you would like to volunteer to help the program, please click here and fill out the form.

Confirmation Retreat: TBD
Each candidate is required to have a sponsor during this very important year of faith development. This person may not be a parent as parents are sponsors 24/7 throughout the life of their child. A sponsor must be a baptized, confirmed, practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church and at least 18 years of age. The sponsor is asked to attend the three Candidate/Sponsor sessions held on assigned dates before Confirmation.
Arrival and Dismissal
1st & 2nd Year Confirmation Students:
Arrival: All 7th and 8th Grade students need to enter through the front doors of the school. They will head directly to the Cafeteria. We will do an opening with all 7th and 8th graders, then head to class.
Dismissal: You may pick up your student in the lower parking lot. It your student has younger siblings attending class at the same time, we ask the 7th/8th grader head upstairs to the Library and meet you with your younger siblings.
Attendance at Class
Attendance is mandatory during this two year process. We have gathered wonderful resources and catechists. Our effort is to assist you in bringing up your children as Catholic and their need to know Christ. Missing classes and/or leaving early puts restrictions on this. Please try to save an hour and fifteen minutes each week for religion classes. There are five classes which involve an extended time with the youth group. See the calendar below.
