Nativity School Registration

The following times are for kindergartners who will start school in the fall of 2009. According to Kansas law, Kindergartners must be five (5) years of age by August 31, 2009. When registering please bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate, baptismal certificate and social security number.

Kindergarten Registration for current Nativity families:
Tuesday, January 13 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Kindergarten Registration for families new to Nativity:
Wednesday, January 14 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Open registration for new students, grades 1 - 8
Wednesday, January 14 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Spiritual Opportunities for Men

Male parishioners are invited to attend the Men of Valor Conference in Kansas City on January 23 and 24, 2009, sponsored by the National Coalition for the Protection of Children and Families and the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas.

This conference addresses Christian purity. The National Coalition is a Christian group that helped to inspire the development of the Archdiocesan freedom from pornography initiaitive, As For Me and My House.

Featured speakers are Christopher West and Dr. Bob Reccord. Friday evening, women are invited also to hear Mr. West give an overview of Pope John Paul’s Theology of the Body. Saturday is for men only.

Knight Under the Stars
A parish-wide dinner, dance and auction is February 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the parish gym. Proceeds will benefit the youth of the parish.

KOC Breakfast
Gather in the parish hall for a little fellowship, introduce yourself to someone new and have a great country breakfast on Sunday, January 11 from 8 a.m. to Noon. $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 4 - 11 and children age 3 and under are free.

If you would like to receive an electronic copy (PDF) of your year-end Nativity charitable contribution tax statement, please inform the parish office of your desire to do so by sending an e-mail to karen@kcnativity.orgSending year-end tax statements via e-mail reduces postage and labor costs and will enable parishioners to receive their statements faster and more efficiently.
All e-mail addresses received and held by the parish remain confidential. Those not desiring an electronic copy of their 2008 calendar year statements will continue to receive traditional statements in the mail.
