Parish Life
The organizations at Nativity offer the opportunity to enjoy fellowship by becoming involved with groups that share your interests. There are organizations of every sort to become involved with. They engage in social activities and service projects and are always looking to welcome new members. Our 2011- 2012 Ministry Opportunities Book lists many opportunities.
Boy and Girl Scouts/ Leaders
Scouting provides programs that build character, foster mental and physical fitness, teach good citizenship and foster spiritual growth. Scouting offers a variety of programs designed to meet the needs of boys from first grade through the age of 21 and young women, ages 14-21. Scouting is about spending quality time with friends, family, and other caring adults in a variety of exciting indoor and outdoor activities. Please consider helping with our troops here at Nativity.
“Scouting is one of the most valuable gifts that you can provide to young people, both boys and girls. It offers opportunities, values and experiences not available in any other way. Young people are our future. The time you invest today makes a difference in what young people will become tomorrow.” - Heart of America Council

Jubilee Social Club
Our purpose is to unite in friendship all the families of Nativity who have reached the age of 50, and beyond. We find that Catholics enjoying things together tends to bring us closer to the Church. Men of Nativity
The Men of Nativity, MON, provides a spiritual forum for all men of the parish. Each week as we meet following the 6:45 a.m. Wednesday Mass, we discuss piety, study our faith and actions we have taken during the recent week/month to better know Christ and His mystical body.
“God has personally touched me numerous times in this ministry as I have witnessed many men save or improve their marriages, find a deeper faith, perform works of mercy for others, all the while doing the same for myself.” - Bill Oades
I personally invite every man of the parish to come join us on Wednesday mornings; after all they are already members and our dues structure cannot be beat!

Singles of Nativity
The mission of Singles of Nativity (SON) is to connect unmarried adults in fun, fellowship and faith. We organize different kinds of social activities that provide a safe environment for Catholic and other Christian singles to gather and meet new friends with similar beliefs and interests. Youth Groups
The Nativity youth program is one that fosters youth involvement in parish life. Opportunities include social activities, service projects, and catechesis. All activities are developed to nurture a love for the Catholic faith.
Volunteers are needed in leadership roles for several sub-committees of the youth program. They are: service projects, Mass leadership, social event planning, fundraising, communications, music ministry, and leadership in both junior high and high school groups. Volunteers are appreciated that organize food and drink for events too!
“God loves His children, and blesses those who know the joy of a child. I have been blessed over and over through this opportunity to work with the youth.” - Liz Hagen
Youth, age 13, through mature adults are invited to serve in youth ministry at Nativity. It is an opportunity to experience true energy in the life of the church, and support a cornerstone of God’s kingdom on earth.
Those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. - Romans 8:14
